Suddenly an old badger stands directly behind you, traveler.
He whispered with a dark voice: “Now this, my friend, one caused quite an argument.” He taps the illustration with one claw. “One side claims it is a missing pet notice.” He pauses.
“The other side claims it is a marriage proposal.”
The badger shrugs.
“I have stopped asking.”
With that, he spread a worn travelling cloth in front of you
to reveal an example from his collection.
“But I have a quite better copy than this old drawing … “
he unfolds his wares directly in front of you:
“Yes, my friend, a sticker from this legendary cartoon. A real part of the tavern’s history. Not the sort of respect … but, this really happened right here.”
