You’re probably wondering why there’s a “News” page now..
Well, there’s a reason for that:
Up until now, there were two separate websites:
Fian-the-bard.com
schattenmaerchen.de
You could switch back and forth between the two sites; *Schattenmaerchen* generally contained the original source texts, while this site featured the retellings or – in some cases – polished versions of the stories.
Now:
Fian-the-Bard.com -is the international window
Fian-the-Bard.de is the german window
and
schattenmaerchen.de is the forge where I collect my ideas.
The German texts are moving over here, and you’ll be able to switch directly between the English and German versions. Of course, this comes with the amusing side effect that the German texts are sometimes arranged differently (and—due to a few quirks—the page might occasionally revert to English). I ask for a little patience if that happens; bringing everything under one roof is a huge amount of work, but yes, I will make sure to fix those issues.
The English texts are already in the correct order, and I am currently bringing the German translations in position ^^
